Всем добрый день. Сегодня поговорим о изменении прав доступа к файлам вашего сайта. Бывает ситуация, когда необходимо назначить соответствующей папке или файлу права. Например, вам необходимо записать в файл некоторый код, а другим это было в целях безопасности бы запрещено. Вы открываете файл для записи, записываете необходимую информацию, сохраняете все это, а потом меняете права с записи на «только чтение». Теперь никто не сможет записать  что-то в данный файл. Это будет до тех пор, пока вы снова не захотите что-то поменять и не измените атрибут.

Я обычно использую файловый менеджер Total Commander (так уж исторически сложилось), поэтому все свои операции по изменении прав доступа буду описывать как я это делаю в нем.

Total Commander поддерживает различные варианты подключений. Его крайне любят веб-мастера, потому что он помогает подсоединяться через популярный протокол FTP. Он применяется на удаленных серверах, иногда в рамках сетевого решения. Подобная возможность отсутствует в том же Проводнике Windows, за счет чего Total Commander значительно выигрывает перед стандартными средствами операционной системы.

Подключение к FTP

Прежде всего нужно знать, как подключиться к FTP через Total Commander. Задача несложная, потому что функционал сразу же зашит в приложении. Нужно сделать так:

1. Заходите в приложение. Вызвать его можно двойным кликом по ярлыку, если он расположен на Рабочем столе. Если там нет, то зайдите через «Программы», обратившись к помощи клавиши Win.

2. Когда откроется окно, можно будет зайти на FTP через Total Commander. Приложение предусматривает целое отдельное меню под такую функцию. Идите в раздел «Сеть», после чего спускайтесь вниз.

3. У вас будет две возможности: создать новое подключение или подсоединиться к имеющемуся.

4. Если уже есть подключение, то больше ничего, кроме клика на нужном разделе, делать не придется. Программа автоматически проверит все параметры, включая имя пользователя и пароль.

5. Далее у вас появится два окна: на одном будет содержимое удаленного сервера, к которому только что подключились, а на другой вкладке — список файлов на компьютере.

Формат FTP удобен тем, что можно напрямую работать с располагающимися в интернете файлами. Веб-интерфейс существенно ограничен, поскольку предполагает защиту: он предназначен для просмотра, а не для внесения изменений. Например, в своем браузере вы сможете просмотреть HTML-код любого сайта, но никаких корректив внести не получится. А если открыть через FTP, то без труда получится отредактировать данные.

Создание нового подключения

Если сервер новый, подсоединения еще нет, его всегда можно создать. Дружелюбный и интуитивно понятный интерфейс Total Commander позволит сделать это без всякого труда:

1. Заходите в программу и идите в уже знакомое меню «Сеть».

2. Здесь нужно выбрать «Создать новое соединение».

3. Нажимайте на подраздел с этой командой.

4. Откроется окошко с параметрами. Их необходимо узнать заранее, чтобы суметь заполнить и прописать все корректно. В противном случае соединиться с удаленным компьютером через FTP-связь не получится.

5. Необходимо приготовить такие характеристики: адрес сервера, имя пользователя (оно же называется учетной записью), а также пароль для доступа.

6. , что адрес сервера задается не в формате site.ru, а обычно в виде цифрового кода — IP-данных.

7. Также программа обратит внимание на то, что хранение паролей в Total Commander небезопасно. На самом деле, если вы уверены в своих действиях, можно разрешить оставить данные.

8. Дополнительно можно использовать прокси-сервер. Это требуется в случае проблем с блокировками.

9. После того, как вы закончили прописывать все настройки, нажимайте «ОК», а затем «Соединиться». Если все заполнено и прописано корректно, программа получит доступ к удаленному серверу и покажет в одной из двух стандартных вкладок его содержимое.

Total Commander предлагает довольно обширные возможности веб-мастеру. Протокол FTP существует давно, остается основным для удаленного управления данными. С помощью менеджера работа будет нетрудной.

Что можно делать с файлами на FTP-сервере

Преимущество связи стандарта FTP заключается в том, что файловый менеджер представляет информацию, которая размещена в интернете, в виде самой обычной вкладки. В ней содержатся директории и поддиректории. Все данные показываются в своем реальном формате — с именами, разрешениями. В том числе, получится увидеть скрипты и другие дополнительные исполняемые данные. У вас получится:

1. Добавлять новые файлы на удаленный сервер. Стоит отметить, что закачка через FTP работает значительно быстрее стандартного веб-интерфейса. Поэтому получится всего за несколько минут разместить даже большие объемы информации.

2. Удалять — просто нажимаете кнопку «Delete» и даете свое подтверждение. Все, как в обычной папке.

3. Копировать на свой компьютер — скачивание тоже работает на большей скорости, чем если применить браузер.

Если вы нажмете кнопку F3, то получите возможность просмотреть файл, а выбрав F4 — отредактировать. , что HTML-страницы открываются в формате документов Блокнот Windows. Поэтому вы должны хорошо разбираться в соответствующем языке программирования, чтобы вносить коррективы.

What’s new in Total Commander/Android 3

There are several ways to select files and folders in Total Commander:

File operations

Shows the last visited directories.

Just tap on a directory to go there.

Allows to save often used directories.

Just tap on a saved directory to go there.

To add a directory, don’t come here via home screen! Instead, go to the directory first, then add it via main menu.

Allows to search for specific files:

RegEx:Use regular expressions.
The specified expression is case-insensitive and finds text anywhere in the file name. Use ^ or $ to find the beginning/end of the name.

Search selected folders:Only search in folders/files selected in Total commander

Containing text:Search for text in files

Case sensitive:Consider upper/lowercase

Unicode:Search for text in Unicode files

Not older than:Search only files younger than a certain time

Size:Restrict results by size

Closes Total Commander for Android

Allows to create a new subfolder in the current directory.

Allows to change Total Commander settings.

To copy or move files, select them by tapping on their icons, or with the select button, then tap on the Copy/Move button.

In the copy dialog, you can now type a target directory. The default is the directory of the target panel.

To copy the file(s), click Copy, or to move them, click Move, or send them via Bluetooth or Wifi.

If the source window shows the contents of a ZIP or other archive file, the selected files are unpacked.

If the target window shows the contents of a ZIP file, the selected files are packed into that zip file.

If the source window lists the contents of a plugin, the selected files will be downloaded.

If the target window lists the contents of a plugin, the selected files will be uploaded.

Allows to rename a single file in place: Hold down the finger/pen on a file until the context menu appears, then tap on «Rename».

The results are shown immediately in the result box below the rename options, before the files are renamed.

See below for a description of all available placeholders!

Files can also be moved to other directories by specifying directory separators «/» (slashes) in the name. Directories which do not exist yet will be created automatically.

Ext. Definition string for extension. In principle, all placeholders can be added to either of the two definition boxes. The rename tool will create a rename string like this: Fields in name mask + «.» + Fields in extension mask. The reason why the two fields are separated is to prevent the accidental removal of file extensions, which would remove the association of files with a certain program.

Search for & Replace withThe string entered in the field ‘Search for’ is replaced by the string in ‘Replace with’. The text in ‘search for’ is NOT case sensitive! Both fields support the placeholders (wildcards) * and ?. A * stands for any number of characters, a ? for exactly one character.
This function is applied AFTER the rename mask!
You can search+replace multiple strings in one step! The strings need to be separated by the vertical line (Button to the right of the field).

Individual items can be moved up/down with drag&drop of the icons. This is useful for changing the file order for the counter function.

START!     Starts to rename files. There will be a warning message if there are name conflicts.

Back button     Closes the dialog box without any further actions.

Here is a description of all available placeholders. IMPORTANT: Upper/lowercase is relevant!

Hold down the finger/pen on a file until the context menu appears, then tap on «Edit file».
This loads the file under the cursor into the default file editor, or shows a list of available editors.

Internal editor help

With the X button you can delete the selected files.

Important note: The files will NOT be moved to some kind of Recycle bin, they will be deleted immediately!

Allows to pack the selected files and/or subdirectories with the built-in ZIP packer.

ZIP files created this way are fully ZIP-compatible and can be unzipped on the PC or
also on the device. To unzip, open the file with ENTER (or tap) and then
copy the files to any directory you want.

To unpack files from an archive file, open the archive with a tap, then select
the files which you want to unpack and press the Copy button.

Shows the properties of the selected file(s) and allows to change the date/time.
For folders, the occupied disk space is shown.

Reload dir

Reloads the current directory to reflect any changes made in other programs.

Allows to send the selected files via Bluetooth (OBEX standard protocol).

The OBEX standard is used by devices like PocketPCs, Palm(TM), and many mobile phones.

Allows to send the selected files via Wifi by creating a local WebDAV server. Needs the Wifi plugin.

The server URL will also be shown as a QR code. As a target, it’s possible to use the Wifi plugin
on other Android devices, or any QR-Code reader together with a Web browser.

Allows to select or unselect files of specific types, e.g. all html files by using
the wildcards *.htm *.html .

Type the wildcards you want or select previously used wildcards from the dropdown
list, and click on «select» or «unselect». The files will be selected in addition to
the already selected files!

Context menus are invoked by holding down the finger/pen for about 1 second. They exist for
the files in the file list, and for some buttons in the button bar:

The local file menu contains the commands Rename, Properties, Copy/Move to clipboard, Paste here.

For audio and video files, there are additional menu items for the internal player.

This dialog allows to change the settings of a button.

The internal editor allows to edit small files in ANSI and Unicode format.

Note: Copy/Paste can be performed via the context menu

TC Media Player

The internal media player allows to play audio and video files supported by Android itself, using the built-in MediaPlayer control.
It can stream music and video from the Internet and from (updated) plugins.

Note: Some buttons are deactivated by default and can be displayed via the player settings.

Plugins

Plugins can be accessed via the home screen.

Passwords for connections can be stored with the built-in password manager. You set a master password which
protects the passwords with AES256 encryption. To change the master password, try to connect as usual. In the
master password dialog, enter the old password, then click on the button CHANGE MASTER PASSWORD.

The Installed Apps plugin lists all the installed third party applications

FTP Plugin

The ftp plugin allows to make connections to ftp servers.

Connection name:
Tap on a connection name to connect. After connecting, the packer icon will change to a connection
icon. Use this icon to change the transfer mode (binary, text or automatic), and to disconnect.
Only a single connection is supported at the same time per panel.

Save this to a file called (in this example) Unix1.ini, transfer it to the SD-Card of your
Android device, and then use the option «load detect string».

LAN plugin

The LAN plugin allows to access often accessed servers in the LAN (local area network) via smb (Windows file sharing).

To be able to connect, you need a real LAN connection to your network (e.g. via WLAN).

SFTP plugin

The SFTP plugin allows to connect to SFTP servers (file transfers over SSH).
For FTPS (FTP over SSL) you need to use the FTP plugin.

Cloud plugins

Connect to WebDAV servers, e.g. by GMX, OwnCloud or CPanel servers (port 2078).

WiFi (WLAN) plugin

Allows to send files and URLs between two Android devices, or from one Android device
to any PC, tablet or smartphone with a web browser.

Send: Select some files, tap on

and then on «via WiFi».

Receive: Tap on «WiFi Transfer» in the Home folder. Then scan the QR code, or enter the URL manually.

USB-stick plugin

Access to USB sticks via USB on the go on devices which normally don’t allow the access, like the Nexus 7 and 10.

Нельзя забывать, что Total Commander ищет лучше стандартного Проводника: у вас появится возможность переходить из одного каталога или директории в другой. Также будет опция перемещать файлы. Если вы работаете в организации, понадобится (активация) приобрести и зарегистрировать уникальный лицензионный ключ. Total Commander/CE is a file manager and ZIP archiver for Windows CE (Handheld, HPC Pro, PPC and Pocket PC)

It was written by the author of Total Commander (http://www.ghisler.com) mainly
for fun and personal use, and is provided to the public for free.

Search for: File name to search for, also partial names and wildcards *,? allowed

Containing text: Search for text in files

Case sensitive: Consider upper/lowercase

Unicode: Search for text in Unicode files

Not older than: Search only files younger than a certain time

Size: Restrict result by size

Allows to rename a single file in place, or the selected files using a dialog box
and wildcards (*.*). When renaming multiple files, you are given the option to copy
the files to the new name, or to just change the names of the existing files.

Loads the file under the cursor into the default file viewer.

You can define a different file viewer with Alt+Tap on the view button, which looks like a sheet of paper with a magnifying glass.

Mkdir (new folder)

To make a new directory (folder), select the command Mkdir from the menu or click
the folder icon in the button bar.

You can then enter the name of the new directory. It will be created in the current directory.

With this command you can delete the selected files.

Important note: The files will NOT be moved to Recycle bin, they will be deleted immediately!

Pack with ZIP

ZIP files created this way are fully ZIP-compatible and can be unzipped on the PC or
also on the device. To unzip, open the file with ENTER (or double tap) and then
copy the files to any directory you want.

Unpack files from a ZIP file

To unpack files from a ZIP file, open the ZIP with a double tap or ENTER, then select
the files which you want to unpack and press the Copy button.

CE-Commander can unpack all ZIP-compatible files except for encrypted files.

Shows the properties of the selected file(s) and allows to change the file attributes
and date/time.For links, the link target is shown and can be modified.For
folders, the total+free disk space is shown (e.g. for memory cards).
Normal files can be associated with a program. It’s also possible to set a default icon.

This is done automatically when you switch from another program to Total Commander/CE.

Allows to create a shortcut (link file, extension .lnk) for the selected file(s) and/or directories.

To change a shortcut, choose File — Properties or press Alt+Enter to open the property sheet for the link file.

Allows to send the selected files via Infrared (OBEX standard protocol),
and to receive files via infrared in the current directory.

The OBEX standard is used by devices like PocketPC 2002, Palm(TM), and many mobile phones.
On other CE devices, you will probably need to turn off the built-in IR receive function and
use the one coming with Total Commander/CE.

Send via Bluetooth

The OBEX standard is used by devices like PocketPC 2002, Palm(TM), and many mobile phones.
Unfortunately the Microsoft Bluetooth functions only work with the Microsoft Bluetooth stack.
If your device uses a different stack like the Widcomm stack, this function will not work.
This menu option is therefore not shown on devices without the Microsoft stack.

Shows only file names/extensions and file icons, no file size or date/time.

Use this mode to overview a larger number of files.

Shows file name, extension, icon, file size and last modification date/time.

Use to sort the files by name, extension, size, and modification date by clicking
on the header of the file list.

Shows large icons and file names only.

Single Window mode

If checked, Total Commander/CE only shows a single file window. This is the default on
PPC and Pocket PC devices. In this mode, the target directory of file operations
will be the same as the source directory, but it can be changed by using the tree button.

In Two window mode, Total Commander/CE will show two file windows. On devices with a keyboard, the
two windows will be side by side by default. On PPC and Pocket PC devices, the two windows will be
above each other. This can be controlled with the checkbox «Vertical arrangement».

Hide files in ROM

If checked, all files residing in the device ROM (read only memory) will be hidden.

This allows you to backup (zip or copy) all files which are not present on the device
by default.

With this command, you can add the current directory to a list of often used directories,
and to switch to such a directory.

If the current directory is already in the list, you can remove it from the list.

Double tap on the current directory to open the directory hotlist.

Shows a tree view window, which allows to switch to a different directory.

Type the wildcards you want or select previously used wildcards from the dropdown
list, and click on ‘select’ or ‘unselect’. The files will be selected in addition to
the already selected files!

On CE devices with a keyboard, press Ctrl+’-‘ to open this dialog, or
Alt+’-‘ to select all files of the same type as the file under the cursor.

Allows to set the sort order and tab widths.

Only with this dialog the tab widths can be stored in the registry.

Local menus (context menus) are invoked with Alt+Tap. They exist for the files in the file list, and for some buttons in the button bar:

The button bar contains some predefined buttons, like Copy and Delete, and also allows
to add your own buttons by dragging a program from a file list to the button bar. The button
will always be added at the end of the button bar.

The new Ctl button (PocketPC and other keyboard-less devices only) allows to select
multiple files simply by tapping on them with the pen, or by dragging the pen over the files.

To modify a button, click on it while holding down the Alt key (HPC), or click on it for
more than 1 second (Pocket PC, Palmsize PC). This will open the context menu, which allows to
change or delete the button.

Internal command ids for the button bar

Internal command ids allow to call internal commands from the button bar.

To create such a button, drop any file on the bar, then tap and
hold on the button to change it. Finally, put one of these numeric values into the
command field.

Toolbar:
The Toolbar icons stand for:
Save, Cut, Copy, Paste, Undo, Search/Search again

Plugins can be accessed via the folder named \Plugins in the root of the file system.

Connection:
Double tap a connection to connect. After connecting, the packer icon will change to a connection
icon. Use this icon to change the transfer mode (binary, text or automatic), and to disconnect.
Only a single connection is supported at the same time.

Save this to a file called (in this case) Unix1.ini, transfer it to the my documents folder on
your device, and then use the option «load connection string».

In case of problems, you can create a log file:
1. Use the registry plugin to go to

2. Double tap on «+Add value+»
3. Enter the name LogFile, type String
4. As contents, enter something like log.txt

To show hidden files like .htaccess (starting with a dot), you can set value ShowHidden=1 manually in registry under the configuration of a server

The registry plugin allows to browse and modify the Windows CE registry:

The LAN plugin allows to store often accessed servers in the lan (local area network).

1. Double tap on «new server»
2. Enter a name for the list, e.g. Server1
3. Enter the server name in the network

To be able to connect, you need a real LAN connection to your network.

Asked Questions (FAQ) — Packing

Q: I have an archive
file of type xyz, but Total Commander cannot unpack it.
Is there a way to still unpack it with Total Commander?
A: Total Commander supports packer extensions,
so-called plugins. These support a range of additional
formats, like GZIP, RPM etc. Furthermore there is a
plugin, which can be configured in detail for calling
external packers. You can find all available plugins and
instructions to write your own on our add-ons page.

Q: Where can I
find the external packers supported by Total Commander,
for the formats ARJ, LHA, RAR, ACE and UC2?
A: You can find the links to these programs on
our add-ons page.

Q: How can I see the
contents of self-extracting archives?
A: Select the file, and press CTRL+PageDown.
This works with normal and self-extracting archives as
well as with directories.

Q: Why doesn’t Total
Commander support the new JAR packer from the author of
ARJ? It creates *.j files.
A: Unfortunately the JAR format is undocumented.
Its contents can only be determined by unpacking the
file. However, you can unpack JAR files with the
Multi-Arc plugin from our addons
page. This plugin directly calls the JAR packer.

Q: I have installed
ZIP-NT, but when I use it, Windows 95 tells me that it
wants to start in DOS-only mode!
A: In Total Commander, switch to the root of
drive c: and press ALT+ENTER on command.com.
This brings up the property sheet of command.com. Click
on the ‘Program’ tab, then on ‘Advanced’.
There are 3 square checkboxes: Only the middle of the
three must be selected! It reads ‘Suggest MS-DOS mode as
necessary’.

Q: Zip-NT cannot find any
files to pack!
A: This happens if there is a PIF file which
contains a startup path. ZIP-NT will always start in that
path and therefore will not find any files to pack!
To correct this problem, you must modify either
dosprmpt.pif, command.pif or 4dos.pif, whichever is
present in your Windows directory.
In Windows 3.1 and NT you must use pifedit.exe to modify
them. In Windows 95 you can press ALT+ENTER on the PIF
files or on command.com/4dos.com directly.

F: Why doesn’t Total
Commander open all CAB file types?
A: There are two types of CAB files: The
official CAB standard from Microsoft, which is used e.g.
by Windows, and the installation files from
InstallShield, which also have the extension .cab, but
have nothing in common with the CAB standard.
Unfortunately Total Commander cannot open those files,
because their format isn’t documented.
